I have been fly fishing for over sixty years and it has taken me all over the world. That makes me feel old. It also suggests I should know what I am doing. I am not entirely happy with either of those conclusions but I am happy to share some of the more photogenic and memorable of my adventures, most of which were made with my good friend Tony Bird.

These days I fish with friends and family, just as in the past I have fished with friends, family, clients and colleagues. Fly fishing is not a solitary as it may appear. - quite the reverse. This website is my way of sharing those adventures with even more of you.

In addition to photographs of fish and fishing, I include records of the accommodation, scenery, flora and fauna as these are all the things that make a visit to a new location interesting to me. In truth, the food also makes an enormous difference but this is not a foody blog.

Thanks for taking the time to take a look. If you would like to download copies of any of the pictures for non-commercial purposes, please do: if you would like prints of anything you see, that can be arranged. If you want to find me, I'll be on the river.

This website is, in part, dedicated to all those that got away but far more importantly to those who stuck around (at least long enough to catch something).
