If we do not tire of London, lest we be assumed to have tired of life, it can still be exhausting. London, in its myriad guises and purposes, is a marvellous place. Built over a thousand years, only the constructions of the last 400 or so are widely on show, but what a variety there is, right across London, old and new cheek by jowl.
